Executive Director - East London R100,000.00 Per Month CTCPhakisa Holdings is currently seeking an Executive Director for East London for a Non-Profit Organisation.This social justice organisation works to advance gender equality and the eradication of gender-based violence. It provides services to survivors of GBVF and works at a policy level to improve the status of women and girls in society.Minimum RequirementsA committed feminist with a relevant post-graduate qualification, e.g. Law, human rights, social work, development studies, etc.At least 10 years senior management experience in the non-profit or human rights sector.Proven track record of contributing to or leading successful fundraising efforts.High level strategic thinking and planning.Successful track record of building stakeholder relations.Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.Financial management, including budget development, analysis, and decision making.Knowledge of Foundation Phase Education would be advantageous.Person SpecificationA visionary who is committed to redress inequality through seeking equality and human rights, with a deep belief in social justice and particularly the empowerment of women and girls.Transparent, responsive, accountable, and inclusive leadership style.High level of integrity, compassion, and respect for the dignity of others.Openness to innovation, reflective practice, and learning.
