A renowned 5-star boutique hotel celebrated for its exceptional culinary experiences, specializing in crafting exquisite 4 or 6-course fine dining tasting menus that are served daily. Our commitment to culinary excellence has made us a destination of choice for discerning guests.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and a creative approach to menu development.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute innovative 4 or 6-course tasting menus that align with our fine dining standards.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 13 kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate our culinary offerings.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.Exceptional culinary skills with a strong emphasis on creativity and presentation.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.Formal culinary training and relevant certifications are preferred.Salary: R apply below including accommodation - utilities (lights and water) covered.
