Executive Assistant with Accounts Receivable
Location: Remote (must reside in South Africa)Type: Full-time
This role involves supporting the CEO with billing tasks and other projects while providing general assistance in various aspects of the business. The ideal candidate is quick-witted, trustworthy, and eager to learn, with the potential to grow into the role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing & Invoicing:
Assist with billing tasks, including processing and adjusting delivery fees (e.g., modifying delivery fees).
Handle invoice management, including splitting orders and ensuring accuracy in all billing-related tasks.
Learn and adhere to the specific rules and procedures related to billing, requiring strong attention to detail and quick adaptation.
Project Assistance:
Support the CEO with various projects, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach.
Assist in managing and organizing tasks as directed by the CEO, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Executive Support:
Act as a right hand to the CEO, providing administrative and operational support as needed.
Manage schedules, handle communications, and assist with any ad-hoc tasks to help streamline the CEO's workload.
Qualifications:
Competence & Intelligence:
Extremely competent and capable of handling complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Highly intelligent, quick learner, and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Savviness:
Tech-savvy with a good understanding of various software tools and platforms.
Able to navigate complex situations with tact and efficiency.
Relatability & Trustworthiness:
Approachable, relatable, and able to work well with others.
Highly trustworthy, especially when dealing with sensitive financial information.
Willingness to Learn:
Open to learning and growing within the role, with a strong commitment to mastering all aspects of the job.
Willing to be trained and shown the ropes, understanding that the role involves a significant learning curve.
Requirements:
Own Laptop & Stable Wi-Fi
Stability in previous work experience is a must.
Previous experience in billing, invoicing, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work full-time remote hours 3pm - 11pm.
