An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Executive Assistant to join a dynamic team in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg. This role offers the chance to provide direct assistance to the President and indirect assistance to the rest of the Executive team within a vibrant media studio environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, coordinating presentations, and ensuring confidentiality of all information. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with advanced skills in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and proficiency in Apple/macOS.What you'll do:As an Executive Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the President and the wider executive team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing communication between executives and colleagues, arranging meetings, handling correspondence, coordinating travel arrangements, providing project support, collating reports and presentations, and maintaining filing systems. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the office.Act as a point of contact between executives and internal or external colleagues/clientsManage information flow in a timely and accurate mannerArrange meetings and prepare meeting agenda and packsHandle correspondence directed to managers/employees at various levelsHandle travel and accommodation arrangements both local and international including itineraries for the President and other executives on requestProvide support, coordination and follow up on a variety of projectsCoordinate and collate reports and presentationsMaintain filing and database system with intent of continuously improving systems in the officeWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Executive Assistant role will bring a wealth of experience from working with senior executives, preferably within the media industry. You will have advanced technical skills including proficiency in MS Office suite, Apple/macOS, and multimedia communication tools. Your excellent time management abilities will enable you to juggle multiple tasks effectively while your strong interpersonal skills will ensure smooth communication with colleagues at all levels.
