The role bridges the CEO and the rest of the organisation, ensuring seamless operations.Duties:Manage the CEO's calendar and diary.Manage travel arrangements for the CEO.Plan, facilitate and monitor projects and activities from the CEO's office.Draft documents and presentations on behalf of the CEO.Schedule meetings and distribute required documents to meeting participants.Record and distribute meeting minutes.Draft annual calendar for Board and Sub-Committee meetings.Prepare and modify documents including correspondences, reports, drafts, memos, and emails in the office of the CEO.Handle requests for information and resolve administrative queries.Consolidate monthly reports from Heads of Departments.Ensure that all expenditure in the Office of the CEO is aligned with approved budget, organizational policies, and procedures.Ensure that Organizational Strategy document and operational plans are compiled and signed off by the CEO and accordingly submitted to the Board of Directors for approval within set time frames.Board Secretarial Duties:Coordinates the fulfilling of Board and Government related needs, requirements and obligations.Coordinate Induction programmes for Board and Sub-Committee members.Arranges and manages the process of calling and holding the Board and Sub-Committee of the Board meetings.Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance and any applicable prescribed laws.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Management/Economics/Education (Maths and Science)/Finance or equivalent (NQF Level 7).Certificate in Project Management.6-8 years' work experience as an Executive Assistant.4 years' experience as a Board Secretary.3 years' experience of Maths and Science (STEM) Operations within the Non-Profit sector in Education and Training.
