Job Description
To vet and ensure all cross border payments meet the requirements of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) prior to the payment being released. To consult with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met before payments are submitted.

The Ideal candidate must have the following exposure:
Act responsibly with work related resources in order to contribute to cost containment and ensure minimal losses to the Bank
Ensure the accurate capture of Balance of Payment (BOP) and the correct Section of the Reserve Bank rulings is applied prior to releasing the payment, thereby minimizing risk
All payments to be released with the relevant service level agreement (SLA)
Keep abreast of and comply to statutory and legislative requirements related to the rulings and updates from the Reserve Bank; and ensure implementation within business
Ensure where Exchange Control approval has expired, information is updated on relevant system and clients are advised accordingly
Provide an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all relevant information
Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives, both internally and externally
Contribute to a culture of service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service
Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
Minimum Qualification
Grade 12 with relevant Banking or Compliance Certificate
Preferred Qualification:
Relevant Diploma
1+ years of Foreign Exchange experience
Understanding of the Reserve Bank exchange control rules
Exposure to cross border payments
