EVP: Corporate Financing Solutions, Mining & MetalsJob OverviewBusiness Segment: Corporate & Investment BankingLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30To lead, manage and deliver the Corporate Financing Solutions (CFS) Investment Banking capability in the Mining & Metals sector portfolio. This includes leading the end-to-end design and implementation of complex, client-centric Debt Solutions to clients, in line with the origination promise. Achieving Lending revenue targets, market share growth and enhancing the CIB Investment Banking brand as the Go-To Lending Bank.Essential Functions:Own and oversee pitchbook planning and where required approve final proposals, pitchbooks and other origination content.Oversee, lead, provide insight and governance across the life cycle of deals, closely with the Coverage, TMU, Credit and other relevant business teams.Lead, provide insight and effective guidance to a team of 3 - 5 experienced professionals across various experience levels.Proactively develop, maintain and expand a network of internal stakeholders to identify and enable cross-sell opportunities, effectively deliver end-to-end Debt Solutions and pursue new pipeline.Proactively develop, maintain and expand a network of relevant external stakeholders, to stay abreast of developments that contribute and influence what good looks like for Lending within the market.Working closely with Investment Banking professionals and cross-functional deal teams, to oversee and drive the successful execution of multiple deals and provide strategic oversight and accountability. Ensuring completeness, compliance and overall quality, while also acting as the primary point of contact for client and solution escalations.Qualifications:Post Graduate Qualification in Commercial Disciplines, i.e., Finance, Accounting.Experience Required:Minimum 10 years demonstrated Investment Banking experience, concluding and leading multiple complex Debt Solutions across multiple portfolios, i.e., products, sectors, clients and/or countries. Lobbying support from Corporate Functions and collaborating with product teams across a large bank. Managing disruptive transformation of Debt Solutions in an evolving macro client context.Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in leading client engagements and Debt Solutions from cradle to grave with relevant sector and/or country experience.Mining & Metals industry/sector experience would be preferred.Minimum 10 years experience in partnering with specialist risk areas to align to business risk management requirements, policies, procedures and the relevant regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated experience in leading a team.Additional Information:Generating Ideas and Providing Strategic Insights.Effective Strategic Planning and Reporting.
