Sorrento Events is a Floral, Décor & Event management company specialising in weddings, corporate events, and celebrations. We are excited to invite candidates to join our growing and dynamic team. We are looking for an Operations Assistant with the ability to execute operational daily tasks, excellent communication, stock management, drivers lists and attention to detail. Skills are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client's tailored requirements. Common daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and executing daily operational tasks. To deliver furniture, décor and floral design to customer. Checking and assisting with loading vans and dispatching for event setup and strikes. Planning teams for event setups and strikes. Checking and assisting stock pulling, transportation and return. Maintain companies vehicles, office and assets. Plan deliveries/collections/returns efficient route. Document stock movement and event reports through our corporate platform. Daily event/movement feedback to be reported to management. Ability to perform event setups and strikes afterhours and during midnight and early hours of the day. Strong admin skills and the ability to multi task. 3 Years work experience in a similar role and industry. Hard working, Motivated, punctual and energetic. A Team Player to compliment our team. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Own vehicle for daily transportation to and from work. Ability to use Microsoft office fluently. A smartphone and the ability to use productivity apps on the smartphone. Must be available to start immediately.
