Our team delivers high-quality events for global industry experts' buyers and sellers.About the Role:We are looking for an Events Operations Assistant II to provide operational support and excellent service to our show team, exhibitors, and visitors. This role involves managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, effective communication, contractor management, exhibitor services, financial management, and floor planning.Key Responsibilities:Manage exhibitor contracts, update lists, collect indemnities, ensure disclaimers are in place, and document signage placements.Attend status meetings, maintain open communication with your manager, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.Assist with queries, manage stand drawings, provide help desk support during build-up, and update exhibitor lists.Source supplier quotes, track budgets, check invoices, write purchase orders, and follow accounting procedures.Coordinate floorplan audits, ensure contractors have the latest floorplans, assist with the Exhibitor Help Desk, manage casual staff, and ensure safety protocols are followed.Attend meetings, take minutes, maintain records, ensure health and safety compliance, and liaise with the safety officer.Source quotes for printing, manage costs, coordinate installation and removal, liaise with the venue coordinator, and ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.Requirements:Experience in event management or a similar role.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.Knowledge of health and safety regulations.Financial management skills.Flexibility to travel and work onsite during events.We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences.
