Job Description Location: Open to South Africa and the UK Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 8 weeks Anticipated start date: ASAP Our client in the technology industry is seeking a seasoned Events Content Strategist for an 8-week project to develop and implement standardized frameworks for Tier 1 and Tier 2 events, optimizing content strategies for the organization's 2025 initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B event marketing and content strategy, with the ability to create scalable frameworks, streamline content workflows, and inject innovative ideas into the organization's content campaigns.
Content Framework Development: Design and implement standardized frameworks for Tier 1 events (large-budget events such as AWS) and Tier 2 events (smaller-budget initiatives).
Create messaging toolkits tailored for event teams to ensure consistency and clarity across all messaging touchpoints.
Scalable Solutions: Build scalable frameworks that streamline pre-event content creation and post-event content repurposing to maximize efficiency.
Develop processes to leverage the organization's content library effectively while integrating fresh, innovative ideas for campaigns.
Content Strategy Optimization: Optimize pre-event content strategies to enhance audience engagement and event ROI.
Focus on repurposing post-event content to extend the lifecycle of event-driven materials.
Audience Engagement: Translate technical or thought leadership content into humanized, audience-friendly assets that resonate with diverse audiences.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and drives meaningful engagement.
Collaboration and Advocacy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with event goals.
Utilize enterprise-level content libraries to support event campaigns and advocacy strategies.
Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in content strategy and event marketing.
Proven track record of working on content strategies for event-heavy industries such as technology, consulting, or B2B sectors.
Expertise in creating messaging toolkits and scalable frameworks for large and small-scale events.
Strong understanding of content marketing, audience engagement and channel strategy.
Familiarity with enterprise-level content libraries and advocacy strategies.
Demonstrated ability to transform complex technical or thought leadership content into compelling, audience-centric assets.
Experience optimizing workflows for pre-event and post-event content strategies.
Deep understanding of event-driven content workflows and how to build efficient frameworks.
Strong creative and strategic thinking, with an ability to deliver fresh ideas for event campaigns.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within a tight timeframe.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
