Duties & ResponsibilitiesBrand Ambassador to the CompanyMaintain & improve on brand perception when called upon to do so in both private & professional capacityInteract with the company's social media presence as often as required, including reshares & post likesAnswer all phone calls with the standard company greeting (landline & mobile)Do your best to improve on your colleague's reputation in the industryReport any helpful or harmful knowledge relating to the company, directly to the GM as quickly as possibleAlways dress appropriately for impromptu client meetingsAlways act in the best interest of the company & never deviate from their core values & brand principlesTake ownership & accountability for tasks, roles & responsibilities assigned to youManage team project workflow, productivity & deadlinesUpskill your teams, including but not limited to company colleagues, suppliers and partners where applicable & possibleAccount ManagementProvide meaningful & insightful reports to the Experiences manager when called upon to do soSpearhead any internal or philanthropic events handed to you with the intention to achieve max ROIPositively contribute towards the communications in the account management-to-event processActively contribute towards the company hitlist and pipeline with appropriate strategyPair well with all/any team members on events/projectsStrive to reach the point where you require very little help from the teamConduct regular site visits & planner meetings to ensure a smooth event and expectationsUse mediums available to attract new sales to hand over to the Experiences managerProviding meaningful feedback to the sales lead after every event/projectPositively assist planning teams to best reach event success in every client touchpointVisit events on a regular basis to ensure standard of execution is achievedConstantly upskill yourself with the intention of becoming the best in your fieldContinue to nurture, maintain & grow your current client profiles & accountsBe available to collaborate with any team member on an event, if called upon to do soMaintaining the scheduled minimum margins required on projects and events unless specific approval givenMaintain & nurture your client list, including frequent client check in's, coffee meetings and emailsContribute to & assist other team members with their Client Accounts where necessaryActively try to grow your account portfolioConstantly seek opportunities for cross-selling within key account clients, additional departments / locationsAlways be well prepared for internal and external meetingsDesired Experience & QualificationProven experience as event managerSkilled in project managementKnowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event managementComputer savvy; proficient in MS OfficeOutstanding communication and negotiation abilityExcellent organizational skillsA knack for problem-solvingCustomer-service orientationA team player with leadership skillsBSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is advantageous but not requiredPackage & RemunerationMarket related.Interested?Applicants, please note:Please only apply for this vacancy if you meet the criteria specified or believe that your qualifications and/or experience qualify you for the role.Camino Recruit endeavours to communicate as clearly and frequently as possible, including providing feedback to all applicants, however, we only undertake to contact shortlisted candidates.
