Event Manager | Bellville

A leading financial services company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Event Manager to oversee their events strategy and execution.
This position involves working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and across multiple divisions, ensuring that all events align with the companys brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the overall events strategy, calendar, and budget.Oversee and approve contracts, event spend, and invoices while ensuring compliance with divisional guidelines.Lead a team of two event coordinators, providing direction on agendas, guest lists, and event logistics.Coordinate invitation designs, branding, and gifting while maintaining consistency across all events.Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.Manage the internal events system, ensuring it meets business requirements and is effectively rolled out.Organize and manage on-site events, including strategic sessions, conferences, and webinars.Ensure strategic alignment with the brand and implement measurement strategies to assess event success.Minimum Requirements: Relevant degree or diploma.6-8 years of experience in event management, ideally within the financial services or a related industry.Proficiency in English and one other official South African language.Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office).Competencies: Flexibility to work longer hours when required.Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.Analytical mindset with resilience under pressure.Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.This is an excellent opportunity to lead exciting events while contributing to the companys growth and brand visibility.
