Job Title:Chief Engineer (HV Projects)
Location:KwaZulu-Natal, Durban
Summary:This position requires a highly skilled Chief Engineer to oversee HV projects in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in managing complex project priorities.
Responsibilities:Provide management support for functional planning processes associated with electrical engineering HV project priorities.Develop and present technical designs using principles, applications, and techniques associated with electrical engineering HV transmission.Define and disseminate information on the professional and technical aspects of interventions related to High Voltage transmission system reinforcement projects.Provide guidance and advice on the principles, procedures, and applications associated with complex forms of interventions and procedures.Manage procedures associated with the preparation and collation of contract documentation and evaluating tender applications for complex electrical engineering HV transmission projects.Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.Registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).Valid motor vehicle driving license.5 years of relevant post-registration experience in the Electricity Distribution or Transmission industry.Estimated Salary:R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
