Job Opportunity: Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a well-established contractor company specializing in electrification, lighting, and renewable energy projects, seeks to employ an experienced and qualified Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor for their operation in Cape Town.
This role is focused on candidates with a background in estimation of electrical projects within the construction sector, specifically with advanced proficiency in CCS Candy, along with a proven track record in understanding special project requirements and tender documentation.
Key Requirements to Meet for Consideration:

You will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering/Quantity Surveying coupled with 2-5 years experience in the construction sector in the electrical discipline, developing accurate, compliant, and competitive tenders through a thorough and advanced estimating practice.
You will have a proven track record in extracting components and quantities from drawings to provide a preliminary costing budget for projects.
You will have experience in working closely with engineers, procurement, and finance to ensure all information and contributions are accurate and timely received to meet clients' deadlines for submission.
You will have experience in preparing financial summaries, tender schedules, proposal detail sheets, and pricing schedules for the Proposal/Project Manager and for management review.
You will have a good network of suppliers and sub-contractors to tap into for best pricing.
You must be a detailed-oriented and organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high-pressure situations.
You must have a driver's license, a clear criminal and credit record, and reliable transport.
