A vacancy exists for an experienced Estate Planner based in Swellendam.
The successful incumbent will be a seasoned professional with a passion for estate planning and expertise in drafting wills.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional certifications in estate planning or relevant areas are advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with a proven track record in drafting wills.
At least 2 years of managerial experience is required, demonstrating effective team leadership and project management skills.
Required skills: Strong managerial and leadership capabilities.
Expertise in estate planning and will drafting.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Proficiency in legal and estate planning software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Role and responsibilities: Estate Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans that align with clients' goals and objectives.
Provide expert guidance on asset protection, wealth transfer, tax strategies, and succession planning.
Will Drafting: Prepare, review, and finalize wills and related estate planning documents.
Ensure all documents comply with current legal standards and accurately reflect clients' wishes and intentions.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of estate planning professionals.
Oversee daily operations, provide mentorship and training, and promote a positive and efficient work environment.
Client Consultations: Conduct detailed consultations with clients to understand their estate planning needs.
Offer clear, professional advice and ensure clients are fully informed throughout the planning process.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all estate planning activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all documentation and processes.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve estate planning processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure our services remain cutting-edge.
