Job PurposeTo manage all operational activities for the specified divisions FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services, ensuring that sales and merchandising standards are consistently met to optimise client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets. The role will focus on driving consistent operational excellence, improving efficiency, maintaining high standards across synergised service operations and supporting the companys growth and profitability objectives.Skills MapPlanningLeadership and Team ManagementIn-depth understanding of operational processes in the FMCG sector.Extensive knowledge of sales and merchandising principles and practicesStakeholder ManagementMinimum Educational RequirementsDiploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent qualificationMinimum Experience Requirements5 years of experience in operations management within the FMCG sector, with at least 3 years in a middle management role.Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a complex, fast-paced environment.Extensive experience in managing large teams and working with retail and wholesale partners.Critical CompetenciesLeadership: Ability to inspire and motivate large teams.Planning and Organising: Ability to establish a course of action for self or others to accomplish a specific goal through effective planning, appropriate assignment of personnel and appropriate allocation of other resources.Operational Excellence: In-depth understanding of operational processes and best practices in the FMCG sector and wholesale and retail environment.Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data and making data-driven decisions.Communication: Ability to communicate in both verbal and written formats.Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges and effective implement solutions.Flexibility: Adaptability to manage changing market conditions and operational demands.Customer Orientation: Commitment to meeting and exceeding client and customer expectations.
