Environmental Officer – Mining Industry – R450K – R250K

Overview
Hire Resolve's client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Officer in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:

Identifying environmental incidents, conducting investigations and assisting with the environmental impact assessments
Conducting the sampling and interpretation of environmental monitoring data
Conducting environmental awareness training
Performing site inspections and audits
Environmental engagement with relevant stakeholders
Knowledge in ISO14001, mine closure, rehabilitation and biodiversity management will be advantageous

Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science
ISO 14001 and Auditing Certificate
3-5 years of experience in the mining industry
