Serving industries like manufacturing, petrochemical, and mining, they ensure safe, compliant, and eco-friendly solutions with a focus on regulatory standards and sustainability.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the company complies with relevant environmental legislationManagement of environmental emergency incidentsManagement of historical contaminationManagement of uncontained spillagesProviding internal environmental guidance and recommendationsConduct site visits, collecting data to establish a baseline condition for levels of pollution or contamination for a site or areas of considerationTechnical ReportCommunicating with clients, regulators, and sub-contractorsAdhoc dutiesDesired Experience & QualificationExperience with Environmental/Contamination Site assessmentsEnvironmental Science/Geohydrology/Geology degreeSkilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and SharePointOwn VehicleDetailed experience and knowledge of the relevant Acts is beneficialRelevant Acts:National Environmental Management Act (Act No. 107 of 1998)National Environmental Management: Waste Act (Act No. 59 of 2008)National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998)
