Reference Number: refs/021198Directorate: Mental HealthNumber of Posts: 1Package: Grade 1: R376 524.00 - R430 512.00 p.a Grade 2: R439 755.00 - R501 630.00 p.a Grade 3: R514 785.00 - R623 229.00 p.a (NB: Salary will be determined in line with OSD policy)Requirements: A Bachelor's degree/National Diploma qualification in Environmental Health.A current annual registration with the HPCSA as an Environmental Health Practitioner.Must have completed community service and registered with HPCSA as an independent Environmental Health Practitioner.Knowledge of relevant Environmental health related legislations.Ability to plan and organize own work to promote service delivery.Experience in environmental health management.Must have a valid driver's license.Duties: Responsible for implementing environmental health & mental health strategies.Surveillance and prevention of communicable disease.Malaria control.Management of health care waste & occupational hygiene in health care facilities.Responsible for environmental hygiene, pollution control and water monitoring.Collaboration with other stakeholders.Coordinate and manage training programs in the district.Conduct any work related to Environmental health services as required by the department, and within the scope of practice of environmental health.Notes: Applications should be submitted strictly online at the following e-Recruitment portal: https://jobs.gauteng.gov.za.
