Environmental Consultant - Mining

Environmental Consultant Position Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a talented Environmental Consultant to join their mining team based in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for mining projects in WC. Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure compliance with regulations. Provide expert advice on environmental risks and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify environmental improvement opportunities. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in environmental legislation. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor environmental performance. Prepare and present reports on environmental findings and recommendations. Requirements Grade 12 Degree in Environmental Science/Geological Sciences Project Management Certificate (Advantageous) 5 years' experience in conducting impact assessments specifically within the mining industry. 5 years' experience in environmental auditing. Extensive knowledge in environmental and mining legislation. Valid Drivers' License. Benefits Salary: Negotiable
