Environmental Assessment Practitioner

Without exception, the successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, have excellent problem solving skills, abilities and quality control of the highest standard. The successful candidate will understand and demonstrate how to manage Clients and Projects of International stature. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a deep-seated passion for our organisational culture and brand aspiration of "Greening Africa One Project at a Time" The capacity to diligently, efficiently and effectively manage complex projects, timelines and scenarios will need to be clearly demonstrated as will an inspirational, can-do and people focused leadership ability. Core qualifications, skills sets and experience must include: Post Graduate Science degree in Environmental field Must have successfully managed and completed (as a lead EAP) at least BA or S&EIA Application process Must be EAPSA registered Must be a team player Critical thinking and obsessive attention to detail Good project management and people skills Exemplary work ethic and not afraid to muck in to get the job done Musts be tough and have the ability to beat deadlines A competent and thorough understanding of all SEMA's and associated regulations A solid understanding of the renewable energy sector, challenges and opportunities The position is in house, and Cape Town based and may include travelling across Africa
