Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule all entertainment events and activities, including shows, performances, and other onboard entertainment options Work closely with the Entertainment Director to develop and implement new and innovative entertainment programs Manage the onboard entertainment budget and ensure that all expenses are within budget Liaise with external performers and vendors to book and schedule performances and events Maintain accurate records of all entertainment-related expenses and revenue Provide support to the Entertainment Director in managing the entertainment team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Collaborate with other departments, such as Food and Beverage and Guest Services, to ensure smooth coordination of entertainment activities Respond to guest inquiries and concerns regarding entertainment options and provide excellent customer service at all times Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for new and exciting entertainment options
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cruise industry Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Knowledge of entertainment and event planning principles and practices Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
