Purpose of this Role:
The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for prosecuting major sales opportunities. These involve winning new accounts and selling materially different services to existing accounts. Your purpose is to grow our revenue base by adding new annuities (new accounts and new service lines for existing accounts).
Span of Control:
This position will form part of the Commercial Sales team and will report to the Head of National Sales.
Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

Customer Base: Grow revenue by identifying new opportunities and developing new customers and business channels in unexplored markets in the region.
Key Industry and Market Stakeholders' Relationships: Form relationships with key regional industry stakeholders in the markets (existing or untapped) to understand customer demand, market trends, and industry development with the purpose of driving sales and brand growth in the region.
Reporting and Documentation: Report against agreed regional goals, IBP, and financial metrics to reflect the region's performance and expenditure.
Financial & Sales Management: Develop and manage the regional sales and showroom budgets.
People Management – Better Together: Proactively manage performance and team dynamics to ensure that a fair, professional, and high-performance environment, aligned to the company values, is maintained.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics or Math's Literacy.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Valid Driver's License is essential.
Bachelors/Honours Degree in Economics or Marketing Management, or 5 years relevant sales experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
Sales System knowledge (e.g., CRM or ERP) is essential.
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the technical sales environment is essential.
Previous experience managing direct reports is essential.
