Hire Resolve's client is looking for someone skilled in Enterprise Content Management to join their team as a Senior Technical Specialist in Cape Town, WC. The candidate hired for this role will manage different content repositories, including IBM Content Manager 8, IBM Content Manager OnDemand, and the associated web client applications. Responsibilities include overseeing capacity, handling modifications, managing user access, troubleshooting, and providing general support functions for various systems and processes. Core Outputs: Configure and support solutions implementation using the IBM Content Management suite. Work with integrated solutions using IBM Content Manager, IBM OnDemand, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Records Manager, and other related IBM technologies. Install, upgrade, and maintain 3rd party packages (IBM). Lead or assist in creating technical documentation and operating procedures supporting client solutions on the IBM platform. Provide task estimations and work allocation recommendations. Execute disaster recovery processes and tests. Perform proof of concepts. Report progress on technical tasks. Maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements, using approved technology standards. Evaluate products. Provide production support and standby duty. Share knowledge with team colleagues. Requirements: Relevant IT degree or diploma. Minimum of 5 years of IBM Content Management experience, specifically in: IBM Content Manager IBM Content Manager OnDemand IBM Content Navigator Papertrail content management platform experience. Additional Skills Beneficial to Your Application: Solutions development and design experience. Development and scripting capabilities. Knowledge of Relational Databases (DB2, MS SQL). Experience with Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and AIX operating systems. Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management technologies and processes. IBM FileNet, IBM Enterprise Records, IBM Content Classification, IBM Content Collector, and Kofax Capture software knowledge.
