A challenging position for an Enrolled Nurse (specialized) exists at Life Entabeni Hospital, KZN, reporting to the Theatre Manager, Mrs. V. Morris. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality nursing care to all patients.
Critical Outputs: Assist the unit to meet the requirements of quality patient care.Conduct basic duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.Ensure that basic nursing care activities comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation, and Life Health Care policies and procedures.Maintain high professional standards and a commitment to personal development.Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Document theatre admissions, focus on risk management, and follow patient outcome standards according to the Quality Management System.Maintain sound relationships and communication with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Infection Control Standards.Requirements: Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.1-year cardiac experience.At least 1 year of experience in a Theatre environment as an anesthetic nurse.Good communication skills.Flexibility to work shifts and in other departments as needed.Able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.Strong customer orientation and excellent team player.Energetic, confident, and knowledgeable as an Enrolled Nurse.Excellent communication skills.Competencies: Problem-solving, analysis, and judgment.Resilience.Engaging diversity.Verbal & written communication and presentation.Influencing.Drive & energy.Building relationships.Customer responsiveness.Organizational awareness.Leading by example.Excellence orientation.Ethical behavior.Email: ******
