Our client, based in Johannesburg, is seeking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and professional Enrolled Nurse to provide the relevant nursing services within a practice environment.
Responsibilities:
Chaperoning doctor during examinationsAnswering and directing patient queries telephonically and via emailTaking of blood samplesPerforming vitalsPreparing of forms and reports for the doctor to completeBooking of theatre lists and deliveriesLiaising with wards regarding admission, pathology labs regarding resultsCleaning and preparing of instruments and ultrasound machine
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current registration with SANCEnrolled Nurse (EN) or Enrolled Nursing Assistant (ENA) diploma/qualificationExperience within a private setting is advantageousValid driver's license and own reliable transportAfrikaans will be advantageousExperience on VeriClaim software system will be advantageousA good understanding of Microsoft Office
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients and other health care professionalsAbility to work within a team, as well as independentlyDedication to the vision and goals of the practiceThe ability to remain calm and exhibit tact in stressful and/or delicate situationsThe ability to handle confidential issues with discretion
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00
