Intercare Century City Day Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Cape Town, seeks to recruit an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary: Theatre.
The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation and good corporate governance in order to ensure satisfaction of customer needs, demands and preferences.CRITICAL OUTPUTS Function as part of a theatre team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.Competent and confident as Circulating nurse.Friendly, professional delivery of quality clinical care to promote holistic care of the patient & to ensure the safety of the patient.Promote and maintain the hygiene of the patient in all aspects.Prevent cross infection by adhering to infection control policies/procedures.Maintain the comfort of the patient as well as prevention of complications.Promote the patient's welfare by doing the necessary observations.Document / record all findings correctly in patient's file.Maintain patient confidentiality.Timeous & accurate checking of stock.Use, maintain & store resources appropriately without wastages and abuse of equipment and consumables.Demonstrates good judgement, client service & decision-making skills in line with company values.REQUIREMENTS Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary.At least 3 years' experience within a theatre environment essential.Able to work flexi-time according to unit requirements.Knowledge of nursing activities within scope of practice.
