English Teaching Assistant | £100 – £110 starting rate | September start | Hackney Secondary school | Full time, term time only Are you an English Graduate or a Graduate with a natural flair and passion for English, who would enjoy helping secondary students improve their English/Literacy skills?
In this English Teaching Assistant role, you will support the impressive English department and be mentored by an inspirational Head of English who has successfully guided many graduates to gain their QTS.
You will work across various English lessons, run small group interventions focusing on bridging the gap in attainment with low ability learners and those with SEN, plus provide 1:1 assistance to those who need it most. You will work with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities and observe exceptional teaching practices.
This successful, modern school is located in the heart of Hackney, conveniently close to London overground stations.
This English Teaching Assistant role is long-term, with interviews and starts scheduled for the week commencing September 2nd. You must be immediately available or have a notice period of less than one week. Your starting pay will range from £100 – £110, depending on your skillset and experience.
