Engineering Planner

RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable company in the mining industry, is currently seeking an Engineering Planner to join their team. The Engineering Planner will be responsible for coordinating and planning engineering activities within the organization to ensure efficient operations. Responsibilities:

Create and maintain comprehensive schedules for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources for scheduling purposes.
Monitor the progress of scheduled activities and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time completion.
Identify and address scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks to optimize resource utilization.
Generate reports and provide regular updates on the status of scheduled activities.
Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously improve the scheduling process and efficiency.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Engineering Trade Test Certificate
N3 Engineering Certificate
Programme in maintenance management certificate
Supervisory certificate
Programme in Project Management
Minimum of five years' operational artisan experience
Minimum of two years' operational enterprise asset management system experience
Minimum of one year supervisory experience
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the mining industry.
