Engineering Manager - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join their mining team in Mpumalanga. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the mining operation, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and optimizing productivity and cost-efficiency.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all engineering activities within the mining operationDevelop and implement engineering strategies to optimize productivity and cost-efficiencyEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsProvide technical guidance and support to the engineering teamPrepare and manage engineering budgetsRequirements:Grade 12Degree in Mechanical EngineeringGCC Mines and Works qualification10 years' experience in the mining industry where 5 years' should be in a managerial role5 years' underground mining experienceExtensive Underground Decline experienceValid Drivers' LicenseBenefits:Salary: NegotiablePaid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
