Engineering Manager - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their mining operation based in Mpumalanga. This role is crucial in driving engineering excellence, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high safety and environmental standards in the mining sector.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage all engineering functions within the mining operations. Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance productivity. Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with operational teams to optimize overall performance. Guide and mentor engineering staff, fostering professional development. Prepare and monitor engineering project budgets. Requirements: Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering GCC Mines and Works qualification 5 years' experience in coal mining (Plant) Opencast Mining Equipment experience (Large Scale Trucks, Shovels and Draglines) Valid Driver's License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
