Requirements:
BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar with 5 Years experience.
Solid understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Combustion.
Good Project Management capabilities.
Willing to travel locally and nationally.
Own Transport & Valid Driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Managing project budgets and timelines.
Team Leadership:
Leading and mentoring a team of engineers and Field Service Technicians.
Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
Facilitating training and development programs for team members.
Technical Oversight:
Providing technical guidance and expertise in combustion systems and Steam technologies.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems.
Research and Development:
Collaborating with our external partners on innovative projects and products.
Conducting feasibility studies on Energy and Carbon reduction for clients.
Quality Assurance:
Implementing and maintaining quality control processes.
Analysing data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Customer and Stakeholder Interaction:
Engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Preparing and delivering technical presentations and reports.
Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensuring all engineering activities adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory changes.
Preparing documentation and reports for regulatory bodies.
Strategic Planning:
Contributing to the strategic direction and planning of the engineering department.
Identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
Supporting business development efforts with technical insights.
