Engineering Manager

Key responsibilities:Acquire failure data and prepare maintenance plans for restoring equipment to operating condition in a minimum amount of timeOriginate and develop analysis to determine maintenance demands for components, equipment and processesAcquire and analyse downtime dataDevelop a plan to eliminate or reduce the losses through root cause analysis, obtain approval of the plan and facilitates the implementationEnsure utilization of a computerized asset management systemEffective planning, coordination and supervision of all maintenance and repairs to all plant servicesDaily monitoring and management of all maintenance functionsBudget management according to company guidelines Minimum requirements:N6 Engineering studies, (B degree in Engineering will be an advantage)GCC Ticket Holder5 to 10 years process plant maintenance experience, of which a minimum three years must have been on a Patterson "D" levelExperience on Computer Based Maintenance Management SystemsGood understanding of Health and Safety RegulationsValid drivers licenseMedically fit (Valid medical certificate)Be prepared to work under pressureAble to read and write English and or AfrikaansContribution to effective "preventative maintenance"
