Engineering Manager

Duties:
Leadership & Management:Direct and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring optimal engagement and professional growth.
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the companys business goals, focusing on maximizing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Maintenance & Reliability:Lead the maintenance operations to ensure reliability and availability of all manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. Implement proactive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Innovation & Improvement:Drive initiatives to optimize production processes through technological innovation and process re-engineering. Champion the adoption of new technologies and lean manufacturing principles.
Compliance & Safety:Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, environmental laws, and industry standards. Promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). A Masters degree or an MBA would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years experience in an engineering management role within the FMCG sector.
Proven track record of managing engineering teams and successfully delivering complex projects.
Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
