Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities:
1. Identify maintenance improvement opportunities through analysis and stakeholder relationships.
2. Manage capital expenditure and lead capital projects across businesses/categories.
3. Develop strategies to enhance engineering services, performance, and efficiency.
4. Approve engineering designs to ensure compliance with principles and standards.
5. Perform inspections/audits to ensure proper procedure adherence.
6. Oversee Safety, Health, and Environmental aspects related to projects.
7. Control budget for overhead and project expenditure.
8. Coordinate with service providers and contractors for optimal performance.
9. Maintain an adequate stock of relevant machine spares.
10. Complete various factory projects and installations as per the scope of work.
11. Order raw materials for maintenance jobs.
12. Design and build various prototypes.
13. Assess and ensure high standards for all completed work.
14. Inspect building and maintenance quality.
15. Execute work according to safety standards.
16. Supervise the maintenance and cleaning teams.
17. Attend to plant and machinery breakdowns.
18. Review and monitor jobs completed by the maintenance team and their timesheets.
19. Plan and implement preventative maintenance.
20. Control and manage job cards.
