Engineering Manager - GCC
Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Government Competency Certificate (GCC) Mines and Works
Leadership Development Programme would be an added advantage
7 years' mining experience including on TMM Surface or Underground

Commodity: Chrome
Responsibilities:

Responsible as a 2.13.1 legal appointee for underground/TMM/Infrastructure/surface/Plant workings as outlined in the Mine Health and Safety Act, and Regulations.
Provide input into the departmental budget and manage the budget for the area of responsibility.
Responsible for generating cost-saving ideas.
Plan and organize resources to achieve production targets.
Execute and approve administrative tasks, including applicable systems (e.g., Build smart).
Provide Engineering expertise and skills to the operation by advising on Engineering solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the operation.
Plan and coordinate major shutdowns with internal and external clients to ensure timely resource allocation.
Coordinate the design of new equipment and ensure integration with existing technology and resources.
Responsible for risk evaluation and alleviation within the design of systems, equipment, and products (Technical and Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)).
Execute discipline design (systems, equipment, and products) through to documentation and data pack management.
Perform fault-finding via drawings for effective equipment availability.
