Engineering Manager (Gcc)

Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight: Ensure the safe and efficient movement of personnel and materials in the plant.Maintenance Management: Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally and schedules are maintained.Project Implementation: Manage capital projects to enhance plant capabilities, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Performance Improvement: Develop and implement programs to sustain high standards of equipment availability and reliability.Utilities Optimization: Optimize utilities operations to support production departments effectively.Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.Team Development: Assess staff performance, identify training needs, and provide development opportunities.Qualifications:Education: National N Diploma (N5/T3) in Mechanical or Electrotechnical (Heavy Current) or Engineering Diploma.Experience: 5+ years in a supervisory or management role within a similar environment, with relevant technical experience.Certifications: Trade Test as an Artisan (Mechanical/Electrical/Millwright) and Government Certification of Competency.Skills Required:Strong understanding of corrugator and converting machines.Basic computer and financial literacy.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
