Job ResponsibilitiesCarry the legal appointment for the shaft in terms of sect 14.1(6) and 141(8) of the Mine, Health & Safety Act.
Qualifications:Tertiary (Bachelors) Degree or advanced Rock Engineering Certificate issued by the Minerals Council of South AfricaMinimum of 3 years' geotechnical experience working at a mine/s of similar depth or similar geotechnical riskExperience in mine seismicity and the geotechnical interpretation thereof for excavation stabilityExperience in the interpretation of numerical modelling results for excavation stabilitySANIRE Membership (professional body for Rock Engineers)Experience working in a Mining environmentDesired Experience & QualificationHR Services, Recruitment & Selection
