Engineering ManagerOur client based on the North Coast near Stanger is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, who must come from an Electronics Manufacturing background (preferably in automotive components) with solid management experience in Engineering, Production, and Projects within an Electronics Manufacturing Plant or have Mechatronics experience at a management level.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage Engineering/Production as follows:Provide support/guidance to the team and deal with general problems on an ongoing basis for the effective running of the equipment in the Combi Meter Department.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing progress.Set up and facilitate internal and external project meetings and document the discussions.Track CAPEX budget targets vs. actual and provide reports to management on progress and commissioning of equipment to production.Manage and implement improvement plans.Ensure Health & Safety regulations within the department.Desired Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree/National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering (Essential)BSc Engineering or BTech or other tertiary engineering qualification in Mechatronics (Preferred)5 years' experience in the automotive environment.3-5 years' experience in a management/leadership role (Essential)Knowledge of Project Management principles (Essential)Knowledge of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) (Essential)Working knowledge of Pneumatics, programming, and maintaining Manufacturing equipment.Leading & Supervising.Analysing.Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations.Applying Expertise & Technology.APQP system (Advanced Product Quality Planning).Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).Package & Remuneration
