Job Description The Workflow Development Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing workflow processes that enhance operational efficiency and streamline business operations. This role involves leading a team of developers to create and implement workflow solutions that align with organizational goals and meet business needs. The Workflow Development Lead ensures that workflows are well-defined, scalable, and integrated with existing systems, driving improvements in process automation and overall productivity.
Critical Objectives: Deliver High-Quality Solutions: Ensure the successful design, development, and deployments meet and exceed organizational requirements and industry standards.Optimize System Performance: Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of the system to support business needs and improve user satisfaction.Align with Strategic Goals: Develop and implement solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives, driving efficiency and supporting business growth.Lead and Develop the Team: Build and maintain a high-performing development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.Manage Project Timelines and Budgets: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Ensure Compliance and Security: Implement and enforce best practices for compliance, security, and data protection within the system, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Foster Collaboration and Communication: Promote effective communication and collaboration across teams and with stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and facilitate successful project outcomes.Drive Innovation: Identify and implement innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance system functionality and maintain a competitive edge.Responsibilities: Workflow Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of workflow solutions that optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of workflow developers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.Process Analysis: Analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and automation, documenting requirements and creating detailed workflow models.Solution Integration: Ensure seamless integration of workflow solutions with existing systems and applications, addressing any compatibility and interoperability issues.Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance of workflow solutions, ensuring they meet defined requirements, performance standards, and user expectations.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment between workflow solutions and business objectives.Continuous Improvement: Monitor workflow performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for optimization and implementing enhancements to drive continuous improvement.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for workflow designs, processes (SOP), and system integrations, ensuring clarity and accuracy for future reference and compliance.Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on new workflow solutions, ensuring effective adoption and usage.Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative approaches to enhance workflow solutions and drive process efficiency.Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics for workflows, using data and analytics to measure success and make informed decisions for improvements.Experience, knowledge & skills required: Degree in Computer Science or related qualification8 - 12 years' experience with Salesforce or related workflow platformExperience in Agile Methodology and Safe/Scrum FrameworkExposure to AWS or related cloud infrastructureExposure to cost, invoice and service providers managementExperience working on Salesforce or related workflow projects for middle market and enterprise size insurance companies preferredProven experience in managing and guiding a technical team comprising over 5 members.Experience on cloud event monitoring tools for always-on including reporting, RCA and remediation.Experience with CI/CDCore Skills: In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including its architecture, features, and customization capabilities (e.g., Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce) or relatedProficiency in designing and implementing workflow automation solutions using Salesforce tools, such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules or relatedStrong skills in Salesforce development, including Apex coding, SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language), and integration with other systems.Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with other systems and applications, using APIs, middleware, and data connectors to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.Skills in managing and optimizing Salesforce data, including data import/export, data quality, and data governance.Insurance ExposureAWS or Related Cloud Computing SolutionAgile Methodology (Safe and Scrum Framework)Stakeholder ManagementAdvantageous Skills: Advanced Salesforce CertificationsKnowledge of Salesforce AppExchangeSalesforce Einstein for AI-driven insights and automation.Closing Date: 01 November 2024
