The incumbents will be based at theirGauteng operations with the opportunity to start a growth path as part of theContinuous Improvement department. Applications are invited from individuals who meet the followingrequirements:Qualifications:- Grade 12/Matric certificate essential- Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering degree/diplomaJob requirements:- Computer literacy and in-house systems knowledge beneficial- Must be able and willing to work shifts and overtime when required- Ability to work independently, proactive, responsible and reliable.- Ability to work under pressure- Must be detailed oriented- Good communication skills both verbal and written- Must be willing and able to travel for work and training purposesYour key responsibilities will be to:- Analyzes the companys processes and makes suggestions on how to improve them.- Working with the Operations and Supply Chain teams in recognizing opportunities of improvement.- Suggest and implementing changes, and sustaining improvements.- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction- Planning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools- Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology- Working to continuously improve processes both on the production floor as well as transactional bycollaborating with multiple functions such as logistics- .Adhere and carry out the necessary responsibilities as stipulated in the companys documented ISO.9001/2000, ISO 14001 and the Integrated NOSA systems as revised from time to time.- Be proactive and take the necessary preventive and corrective action as required by the above-namedsystems
