Responsibilities

Coordinate Project Execution: Oversee fieldwork coordination, assign laboratory tests, and perform analyses.
Develop Professional Knowledge: Undertake assignments to enhance professional skills, applying standard techniques and procedures to complete related engineering tasks.
Manage Budgets: Oversee and manage project budgets effectively.
Handle Geo-Data: Acquire, analyze, and interpret geo-related data for engineering projects.
Professional Development: Collaborate with project professionals to identify learning needs and advance technical knowledge in Geotechnical engineering.
Data Management: Input, manage, and analyze project data.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with engineers, geologists, and contractors to ensure project success.
Ensure Compliance: Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree: Engineering Geology
Driver's Licence: Valid
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years in engineering geology
Registrations: Registered with SAIEG and SACNASP as Pr.Sci.Nat
Location Preference: Applicants residing in the Eastern Cape will be given preference
