Engineering Foreman

Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Engineering Foreman to be placed in Venetia. The successful candidate will report to the General Engineering Supervisor. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:Cost containment, high mean time to failure after repairsCompetent, motivated, disciplined and positive teamEffective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiativesEngineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specificationsEngineering equipment is maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and schedulesCompliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocolsMaintenance schedules to be in place and 'living'Administration management and Quality management risks mitigatedMaintenance reports completed in detail and accuratelyManagement of the maintenance budgetEffective team and self-management in alignment with M&RC's values and leadership initiativesSuitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalentSection 26 Recognised/Equivalent Trade CertificateMine based technical certifications (e.g. Basic Hydraulics and Basic Rigging
