Engineering Draughtsperson/Technician Section: Petrochem Civil Works (Cape Town)Cape TownSalary: ZAR 200000 - 300000Closing Date: Monday, 13th January 2025Experience: 6 Years MinimumPosition Outline:Kantey & Templer Cape Town Section: Petrochem Civils Works is in the process of reviewing candidates to fill the position of Engineering Draughtsperson/Technician (Petro Civil Works).Skills:Good understanding of main design aspects of civil engineering requirements in petrochemical facilities.Interpret graphical forms & drawings.Detailed knowledge of technical drawings (concrete, steel, and drainage).Detailed knowledge of technical specifications.Detailed knowledge of the layout of petrochemical storage and handling facilities.Knowledge of various mapping systems.Create and maintain the various drawing databases necessary for the compilation of project drawings.Typical detail drawings.Provide database management for project document control.Site measurements as required.Management, filing, storage, retrieval of drawings.Distribution of drawings to other parties.Compilation of sets of drawings.Maintaining a library of typical details to be used in the future.Qualifications:Draughting and CAD certificate / Civil Technical diploma.Computer Literacy:Microsoft operating systems (Excel and Word).Windows & Internet.Personality Profile:Motivated and ambitious.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to work independently.Key performance areas will be discussed once the candidate has been interviewed.This position's salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.Suitable candidates are to email ****** their CVs by Monday, 13th January 2025, quoting ref – "K&TCPT Eng DP/Tech Petro."
