Engineering Draughtsperson (Qualified)

Responsibilities:
Incumbent will be responsible for:

Compiling all civil engineering drawings.
Establishing standards for all drawings and ensuring quality control of all drawings prior to submission to clients.
Gathering information and managing project administration.
Assisting with the design of roads, sewer, stormwater, and water pipelines, as well as building platforms.
Record keeping and issuing of all drawings.
Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have a Grade 12 certificate.
A minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in drawings and experience in Civil 3D.
Must have accredited AutoCAD training.
AutoCAD experience including:

Using x-ref drawings, sewer/stormwater/water networks.
Compiling longitudinal sections and setting out data for roads and pipe networks.
Setting up drawings that include all the relevant data required for construction.
Creating layout drawings and detail drawings.

Experience working on civil infrastructure services including water, sewer, roads, and stormwater (primarily for housing developments).
Requirements:
Advanced level of MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook).
