Engineering Draughtsman – Solidworks

Job Title: Engineering Draughtsman – Solidworks
Location: Boksburg
Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 CTC
Responsibilities:

Generation of new drawings using CAD in 3D.
Provide input to the design and development process for new components.
Provide technical assistance.
Report anomalies on customer-supplied drawings to management for review/change.
Update drawing changes on the drawing change history record.
Provide assistance to Drawing Office Manager.
Generation of detail drawings for manufacturing.
General office admin.
Perform duties as required by Management as requested.
Always be on the lookout for improvement opportunities.
Run FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to calculate stresses and deflection within manufactured products.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
Competent in Solidworks.
Competent in FEA Analysis.
3 to 5 years Draughting Experience.
