Performing various manual or mechanical functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed production equipment to meet customer specifications.Key Responsibilities:Develop safe working practices for routine and non-routine tasksDevelop and control the Apriso system - completing assigned work orders in the agreed time framesIdentify and rectify process performance issuesDaily routine checks for plant and production equipmentContinuous monitoring of equipment conditionCarry out routine and planned overhaulsCarry out planned and ad hoc maintenance along with Height/diameter changesCarry out mechanical improvements in the processSupport trials and new equipment installation and commissioningSpare parts monitoringCarry out unit spares rebuild as requiredTraining and support of personnelShift support/cover when requiredMaintain housekeepingTurning, milling, and grinding work when requiredFLT driving when required.The above job description is the minimum requirement for this job position.
It is also expected that the person will carry out any task requested by a supervisor or any task needed to improve the general performance of the Plant taking due account of skills and safety.
