You will also represent the company at Group forums for MBT/ TI Synchro/ Connect etc.
and interact with Group counterparts, negotiate and enforce Group requirements and to create and maintain the Bill of Materials, MBT and Connect for various projects.Possible Tasks within this RoleCreate and maintain the Bill of Materials for various projectsProduce a specific data base, check and ensure for correctness before issued to the Company.Document the receipt of Data Change Notifications (DCN) and convert the engineering information given into the TS related data, by appropriate codingAnalyse and evaluate all changes that have taken place on the Group UMF'sCo-ordinate on-line coding and all supporting computerized systemsEstablish Prototype Vehicle build parts list using TISCo-ordinate Group and Engineering changesTrack the Engineering Changes through the different phasesCollate, create and summarize ECR reports/responses related to investment costs and forward to head officeAdvise on local content changesGenerate, add & delete lists for new vehicle spec optionsConvert the Technical Product Description and Vehicle specification into TS related dataExecute consistency checks on the incoming "Engineering Change Requests"Arrange the resolving of ECR / DEV problems in so far as they affect the TIS data base.Create and maintain PR number calculator using data obtained from MBVEstablish new technical rules in MBT systemTo represent Product Data Management by participating in projects to advice on engineering systems / process matters Qualification requirementsHave a relevant 3-year diploma/degree in the following disciplines – Engineering, Logistics or, Business ManagementExperience neededMinimum of 4 years' experience in an automotive environment EssentialsMust have a thorough working knowledge of models and systemsComputer literacy, especially MS Office packageSound knowledge and understanding of Group Systems and procedures Sound knowledge and understanding of Group systems (TI Synchro, MBT, Avon, KVS, MBV).Have the ability to work under pressureAbility to confidently represent Product Data Management at various forumsMust be able to display a combination of commercial, analytical and technical skillsMust have Problem Solving abilities and Conflict Management SkillsPresentation skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels
