Afrimat Marble Hall (Pty) Ltd, based at Marble Hall has a vacancy for a:Engineering Aide (Fitter)Minimum Qualifications / ExperienceGrade 12Minimum 2 year's working experience in Engineering EnvironmentMust be medically fit to work on a MineDuties and Responsibilities (not limited to):Risk assessment to be filled in and signed before any job is carried outGrease all bearings according to prescribed greasing scheduleCheck all gearbox oil levels, report any potential failures on gearboxes, V-belts, motors and bearingsCheck that all required pumps around mine are workingCheck dam levels and ensure that water samples are takenIf dams are full and water tests are in allowable level, ensure you open valve to release water into catchment areaCheck all dust suppression dams for correct water levelsInstallation of pipes and pump guardsAdhere to all safety rules at all times and follow proper lockout procedureAssist in daily plant maintenanceParticipate in good housekeeping, make sure that the work area is clean at all times, clean tools and equipment at all timesPlease submit the following documents to apply:– CV– Certified ID copy– Certified N2 Fitter certificate copy– Proof of residenceDISCLAIMER: By applying for this position and supplying Afrimat with your CV and other personal information, you are consenting to the information being used for recruitment purposes.
