Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to): Risk assessment to be filled in and signed before any job is carried out Assist Electrician to clean substation areas daily Assist Electrician to clean transformers areas daily Assist with greasing of electrical motors monthly Assist with electrical repairs under the supervision of the Qualified Electrician Replace all effective globe, electrical equipment plugs and switches Assist in cleaning all electrical panels on a monthly basis Assist with monthly inspections of electrical equipment and completion of legal registers Assist with minor electrical resets Adhere to all safety rules at all times and follow proper lockout procedure Assist in electrical inspections Keep electrical stores clean and tidy at all time Good timekeeping and attendance Participate in good housekeeping practices at the mine
